we got a new toy to put in the new room

The New Melodyne is out. It has Direct Note access.

"Direct Note Access heralds a whole new age in audio editing: for the first time in audio production history it is possible to edit individual notes within chords and polyphonic recordings."

For me this means that when i stupidly try to play guitar, or even get a great take playing keys off a real synth, but hit a bum note, I can access single notes within the chords. This is crazy.

This may not mean much to you. But imagine if you are the hungriest and fattest kid in school and someone gave you cake. Thats how i feel today.
